January 23rd was our 28th Kick-Off Milonga "Debut" Event!  

 

For 28 consecutive Thursdays you all decided that Terri's Firehouse Tango-Milonga II was "the place to be".   

 

Everyone's new repertoire is looking good. The Tango community recognize our guys are gallant and our classy ladies are stylish, coy and sultry.

Here is what happened:   What a wonderful surprise. The turn out was fabulous.  Our dance floor becomes a living thing. Silhouettes in the dim light cast shadows of dancers embracing and enthralled insync with each other and the music that is too captivating to ignore and too private to watch.  It is Tango at Terri's on a Thursday night.  Don't miss out

* Guest   DJ" Raging Richard Ariza"  was masterful. He artfully transitions each song and melds the music to the dancers on the floor.  His selections and great artists, bring the heat, but our dancers bring the fire.  He featured the romantic sounds of  

Osvaldo Fresedo, the vintage sounds of the Orquesta

Tipica Victors and the modern feel of the 

Alex Krebs Tango sextet .

The changing moods inspired changing partners.

Every tanda should feel unique.

                                                                                     * Our guest instructors:  Karina Romero and Jorge Carmona tweak our all-timers with new techniques and inspire our first-timers to master the art of the lingering embrace.  The lessons are fun and instructive. 

 

Terri's Firehouse Tango-Milonga II is known for well seasoned Tanguero/Tangueras with impeccable courtesy and respect for the art of Tango.

 

While everyone has their own unique style and moves, Terri's Tanqueros are a stand out wherever they go in the community. You are easy to spot and pleasing to the eyes.  We are the well spring where the Tangueros are drawn from.

"Terri's Tango Tutor" #2 was sent  under separate email.  It is meant to be a good conversation starter,  to share opinions and trivia, some history, some fun, some videos, to increase our knowledge and provide topics for chit-chat.
