I sincerely missed being there with you, but I watched the videos on our Facebook page and heard about how much fun and enjoyment was being had by all. The high energy and growing friendships were evident.
The dim-lights ambiance, vibrant music and elegant Tango dancers created a perfect summer night for Milongas. Ladies, we are so proud of our gentlemen. They're making us look even better!
Our guest instructor was Karina Romero. She and her partner, Jorge added sparks and fire, slide and glide, sass and class, to a packed room lesson. Simplicity over complexity are paying off. Our guys are growing in confidence and daring. Our ladies are encouraging them. The result is a dance floor that sways like a sea of tall grass in a private dance with the gentle
breeze.
The Milonga began with the vibrant sounds of Argentina, reminiscent of street lamp lit alleys, smoldering cigarettes and tilted fedoras, ladies in fishnets, heels, and sultry eyes, courtesy of our guest DJ Sue Dee.
Well deserved praise moment: This last class was full, again. Who can feel the self- improvements? It is observable. You're putting your skills to good use. Clearly, protocols are followed. Individual and personal style are emerging. You make it look easy. Watching your determination is what keeps me motivated. Keep it up and keep coming
