NOTICE: NO COSTUME OR DESIGN IS REQUIRED.  YOUR OWN CHARACTER IS PLENTY AND HEAVEN KNOWS WE HAVE PLENTY OF CHARACTERS HERE.   SO COME AND ENJOY OUR GREAT THURSDAY MILONGA AS A TANGERO AND CHEER ON ALL OF OUR CONTESTANTS.

***Halloween Costume Parade: Thursday, 10/31/2019:*** 

 

If some may recall, in the past, three judges made the difficult determination of selecting the winning costume by multiple categories. To spare the judges this torture, and make it more heart stopping, dramatically Hitchcock suspenseful, a spine-chilling teaser, let's try something different this year:

 

"Each person or couple in costume or masquerade" will receive  one "White raffle ticket"  The matching "White Ticket Holder"  will be for the costumed/masquerade  only!**

 

Karena Romero has generously donated a one/half hour private lesson for the winner of  the  "Red Ticket holder", which will be given to everyone costumed or not at the door upon entry. 

 

The "White Ticket" will be put in a bowl and the "Red Ticket" will be put in a separate bowl, both, protected by a vicious creature hungry for human flesh.

 

I will announce the parade assembly of all Costumed and masquerade attendees

composed of our ghouls and goblin "White Ticket holders" only,  for video and picture taking; as they unashamedly, unabashedly, ostentatiously, artfully, tactlessly, flaunt themselves for the paparazzi! [you]

 

An innocent bystander will be called on to render  (5) drawings from the bowl with the White tickets. Each matching contestant will receive one prize each.  It's all in good fun, sportsmanship, and good time.  

 

The second raffle will be held next and the "Red Ticket" will be drawn from the second bowl.  The holder of the matching ticket will win a free one/half hour private lesson with Karina Romero.   All in all, 6 Prizes will be given out, so come join us and take your spooky chances. Looking forward to a fun time.
