Everyone was unique, imaginative, 'flashy', and all excellent good sports. After the parade of costumed Tangueros, sashaying to the tune "love potion #9" spun by DJ "flapper" Sue Dee, 6 winning tickets were drawn by the twin keepers of the gate, "Dr. Tibor and Mr. Hyde." [Vincent Price maniacal laughter inserted here]
Caught on video: OUR die-hards dancing to the last minute of the final "Tanda." "Tangueros don't die, we multiply!"
Guest DJ Sue Dee, carried the Halloween theme night away with a lovely variety of music and fun tunes. It was great.
We will enjoy "DJ Sue Dee" again when I reschedule her. Wait till you see the talented and fun line up I am working on for you.
Our guest instructors; Karena Romero and Jorge Cardona, continued to teach us the seductive art of Tango and dance etiquette so finely demonstrated by our gallant gentlemen.
Our Tangueros and Tangueras shine with alluring self- confidence on the dance floor. Everyone is falling into their roles beautifully, making the invite to dance welcoming, coy and seductive at the same time. Keep up the good work.
I advise that you continue to draw from our instructors experience. Make good use of your time with them. Follow their lead and pay attention. Stay focused while they demonstrate to avoid distracting others. You're looking good, but there is always more to learn.
Most assuredly, we will continue with the dim-lights, flickering candles ambiance and captivating music.
We attract a diverse crowd of people. The word is out, our gentlemen are gallant. Our ladies are classy. Our image is refined. Our event is growing nicely. Please continue to be welcoming to everyone.
Also, remember how you felt when you were a first timer anyplace. It takes a bit of courage to walk into a room of people you do not know yet.
So be a bit patient and courteous to first timers, since we only get one shot at a first impression. Cut them some slack. Give them the space to acclimate to our protocols.
Allow me to exercise the public relations. Bring any egregious concerns to me directly and discreetly. Low profile. I'll do the rest. Thanks. I appreciate that.
Tangueros are migrating over to us because of our courtesy and gallantry and etiquette. We're cool people to hang out with.

Thank you to the vivacious and witty Doc Sharon and keen eye of "Black Hat" John Rovito. Give them a like on our Facebook page.
**"Tango Etiquette": In the art of Tango seduction, it is more than steps and moves, but mastering courtly conduct also. It projects an air of confidence but tempered by impeccable good manners.
Tango encourages our guys to "coax" the lady onto the dance floor, to "court" her , "beguile" her, "win" her into his masculine embrace. The gentleman is dashing, the lady is hesitantly demure.
First and foremost, it is always the ladies feminine discretion over her level of resistance before she is persuaded. In Tango, the gentleman has to win her over. Guys be gallantly chivalrous but resolute. Ladies be artfully coy but consenting. **
Our guest instructor, Karina Romero and partner will continue teaching us the Tango state of mind, attitude, and art of the dance.
The one on one sessions clearly boosts your confidence and sharpens your skills. You re ready to move upward and onward to next level stuff, this is where it is paying off for all of you.
Even your hand movements, eye contact, and expression, all convey the tango attitudes, and your stride toward personal excellence. Bravo. Trust me, it is showing.
Our secret is simplicity over complexity improves your personal technique, command over your steps, dignified self-image, and Tango etiquette.
It is worth restating, just how quickly so many of you overcame your initial shyness that is normal to the first time in a group setting. Then just as quickly, developed your own unique individuality and personal style that belongs to you. It is all yours. Claim it and name it. You got this.
