Firehouse Tango celebrates Walter Monteblanco's Birthday and More or Less Kosher for Passover Milonga tomorrow, Thursday, April 28th
 Passover Dinner

I'm cooking up a storm for our More or Less Kosher for Passover Milonga tomorrow night.  Please don't make me go home with leftovers.

I'm making my world famous brisket with potatoes, carrots, string beans, and matzah balls and my good, but not necessarily world famous, turkey.  I'm also bringing the last of the honey from Joe's bees and apples to dip into that good stuff.  I'll round it out with some miscellaneous appetizers and desserts.

Here's a list of everything else promised so far, and there's sure to be more, so don't miss it.

Eva Roth - Argentine style fish stew

Marion L - Drunken dried fruit

.  Judy Assissi - Carrot tsimmis (cancelled due to the flu)

·  Georgina B - potato kugel
.  Mike Porro and Debbie Kim (Honorary) Salad

.  George Ngo - (Honorary) Salad Matzoh

Jack Block - fresh fruit bowl

Walter Monteblanco's birthday

Walter is actually celebrating his birthday with us during the month when it occurs.  This is a rarity, as the Monteblancos are usually traveling.

Walter has been teaching Argentine Tango since way before I knew it existed, and he's my absolute favorite vals partner in the world. Everyone loves Walter's large and happy personality.

Gay will start the celebratory dance, and I will fight with Marita for the privilege of being second.  Each of the tangueras can then have her turn. Possibly a few tangueros will cut in as well, since Walter follows as flawlessly as he leads.

Gay will bring a birthday cake, and Walter will bring lots of champagne to share.

And of course, our usual schedule of lessons and dancing.
