WHAT A TREAT IT WAS:
Last Thursday; DJ Marcos David Blanco inspired us with his wonderful playlist of Argentine Tangos.
Suddenly, he hit us with such a hot mixture of Cortinas that filled the air with sizzling old school mambo numbers. It was so powerful that it literally pulled everyone out to the dance floor! You have to experience the magnetism.
Also, we enjoyed a fun birthday celebration for two elegant ladies; Leonor and Bella. In keeping with our lovely tradition, each of our debonair gentlemen gallantly lined up to engage in a celebratory dance with them. This is the place to be.
Thank you for the two deliciously beautiful layer cakes.
Thank you Marcos for being part of our team and for the amazing music you put together just for our crowd every time you DJ for us.
Do not miss out the next time I schedule him. Just do it.

Every Thursday, I bring us the best talent, hottest entertainment, and the coolest Milongueros all under one roof every single Thursday night! You can never go wrong with us.
I was reminded by one of our dedicated supporters about our staying power. Sadly, many others have tried and fizzled out. Yet, this Milonga continues on for over 16 years because of people just like you. Now we welcome a new generation of Tango enthusiasts. We refuse to quit!
There is only ONE authentic Terri's Firehouse Tango Milonga at 105 Grove Ave. in Maywood, NJ.
Terri's Firehouse Tango-Milonga II sets the highest standard of tango etiquette.
We inspire everyone to embrace our passion for traditional Argentine tango.
Our secret sauce is we create good vibes here that is just no where else to be found.
Every Thursday night, here is where we meet other classy, chill people and share a fun time together making another treasured memorable tango experience. Shhhhh!

BRAGGING RIGHTS - Even during this public health panic, I was the only Milonga to follow all the rules and still maintained a safe haven for all of us to enjoy life.
I kept the doors open even while operating in the red because the spirit of Tango is defiant and unconquerable. Someone had to keep that spirit alive.
THE POWER OF INNOVATION:
I was the only Milonga to install two top of the line certified HEPA air sanitizers for our safety and comfort.*
Now that the worst has passed and we resume some sense of normalcy, I invite everyone of you that were hesitant to come out to return here with us at Terri's Firehouse Tango Milonga. Enjoy life.

They are capable of completely cleaning a room of over 1350 square ft. and way over 600 cubic feet per hour! It is provided to us courtesy of AMI GLOBAL SECURITY, LLC [my son Tony gifted it to us for our safety or else now I can come out and play.. Thank you Tony]

Meet the mighty Tibor. He is not only a suave greeter but his door management and traffic flow is what makes every minute count for your fun and Tango time.
He also takes all the videos of the Group Class, after lesson demonstration for our Milongueros and Milongueras to enjoy afterwards.
Tibor trouble shoots if we have technical difficulties. He represents management and maintains policy. Tibor is the name, Tango is the game!

Our variety Cortinas by our DJs.
We add adobo and sofrito to spice up our Cortinas. Our Cortinas are a delicious mix of Salsa, Mambo, Merengue, Cumbia and social style dance that simply keep up the mood with "sabor" [flavor]. Yet, we consistently remain loyal to our traditional Argentine tango roots.

Tango is not only about learning steps, but understanding and listening to the music.
Each artist interprets the same music /song that you dance to, but the musical styles are different.
Your ear, needs to listen so that you can dance to each interpretation from those artists elegantly.
It is written all over the place that the best way to improve your dancing is to know the music you are dancing to as your body moves with the different styles, so that you may look and be lead gracefully on the dance floor.

INSTRUCTORS REPORT:
I offer everyone top shelf master instructors that lead by example, coach you, improve your self confidence, and sharpen the skills you've already learned. Our seasoned dancers and our new comers feel at ease. No fear. We all learn from each other. We all coach each other. We all enjoy each other like no place else.
Where ever you go to dance your own unique style will be evident and noticed.
Naturally, every instructor has their own style and methodologies. What works and what sticks with you is all that counts.
**The dance hall is available to us exclusive every Thursday. We are offering private, one on one lessons, by appointment. Call me for details. **
BRAGGING RIGHTS:
It has become quite evident that no matter where our Milongueros and Milongueras go to dance, their style and versatility are immediately recognizable as "you must be from Terri's Firehouse Tango-Milonga II!"
Every seasoned Tangueros feel right at home here because you are always welcome. So continue to come by and join us for the fun of it.
Everyone benefits from the lessons and we all enjoy the exchanges of style, variety and comportment towards one another.
Thursday nights with us are the Tango kick-off so come on over. This is the place for all Tangueros from everywhere to Tango. If you can only Tango one night a week, Thursday nights with us is the place you want to be.
Fun is the operative word. We are not only a showcase for the Tango Community, but the place to go and simply have fun, enjoy really good people and dance like you just don't care!
