Instructor: Master of Argentine Tango, Rainier [Ray] Pereira.
Group Lesson: 7pm sharp!-8pm
Ray is an accomplished, trained dancer. He taught for over 10 years at one of the most highly acclaimed tango schools in Argentina.
Ray brings a diverse style for everyone to learn from. He is a very talented dancer, teacher as well as a Popular DJ.
By learning a variety of techniques it will not only enhance your own individual style but gives you greater diversity, richer experience and the abundance of combinations that make Tango so alluring.
MILONGA/SOCIAL:8:00pm Sharp! to
11:15pm.
DJ: This week DJ Ray will entertain us with his fantastic playlist of Tandas and keep us dancing until lights out.
We all enjoy his exciting selections of Tandas. He gallantly invites our ladies to the dance floor as well.

Terri's Report January 26th
GROUP LESSON: Was conducted by our gallant instructor Rainier Pereira.
He is wonderfully informative. Rainier smoothly imparts a variety of styles.
We are coming to admire his crisp looking style because of the way
everyone is picking up on so easily.
Each of you adapt to it and apply your own individuality and personal style. Looking good! Bravo!
I do appreciate how he pulls out one of our own ladies to join him and guide in each of the lessons. "Gallantly."
It is the best way to learn and
build confidence at the same time.

MILONGA/SOCIAL:
Last week, our ever popular and charming DJ
Marcos David Blanco spun for us the hottest selections from the most popular arrangements by Master Composers and Orchestras. Everyone was on the floor enjoying these selections.
We can really
appreciate a DJ that loves to gallantly dance with the ladies and passionately play his best music for us.
Our DJ's bring their best music and play their heart out for us. Thank you Marcos. (See the videos)

Meet the mighty Tibor. He is not only a suave greeter but his door management and traffic flow is what makes every minute
count for your fun and Tango time.
He also takes all the videos of the Group Class, after lesson demonstration for our Milongueros and Milongueras to enjoy afterwards.
Tibor trouble shoots if we have technical difficulties. He represents management and maintains policy. Tibor is the name, Tango is the game!

Encourage each other as much as I encourage you. Praise each other, compliment each other and coach each other. We are not competitors. We are Tango dancers and Tango friends. Etiquette and traditional good manners set us apart from everywhere else.
TALKING POINTS:
Tango is not only about learning steps, but understanding and listening to the music.
Each artist interprets the same music /song that you dance to, but the musical styles are different.
Your ear, needs to listen so that you can dance to each interpretation from those artists elegantly.
It is written all over the place that the best way to improve your dancing is to know the music you are dancing to as your body moves with the different styles, so that you may look and be lead gracefully on the dance
floor.
Your style is yours. Own it.
