Meet this week's Master Instructor: Let's welcome another amazing Instructor Silvana Brizuela-Weigel

Silvana Brizuela-Weigel (dancer/performer) born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, began her studies in that city at the "Escuela Nacional de Danzas" and at the prestigious worldwide "Teatro Colón"; from where she
obtained a postgraduate degree in Ballet and took part dancing in various Opera and Ballet productions, including Giselle, Carmen, The Nutcracker, Walpurgis Night -from Fausto-, Don Quixote, and Tannhäuser. Later on, she got admitted at the school of the "Teatro Municipal General San Martín", continuing her dance training and learning all the major Contemporary Dance Techniques, as well as Choreography Composition.While keeping that vast training and work simultaneously, she studied Tango with
Mingo & Esther Pugliese, Eduardo Sotelo & Ivonne Laens, Rodolfo Dinzel, Julio Balmaceda, plus Natalia Games& Gabriel Angió. Silvana has performed and taught Tango at numerous and noteworthy venues and shows in Buenos Aires, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Boston and Pennsylvania

DJ Richard Ariza's musical selections bring high energy to the dance
floor. His knowledge of Argentine Tango music and extensive playlist brings us the diversity of styles that makes Tango so culturally rich. We all enjoy is energy, music and gallant manner when he takes our ladies out to dance.

Another Shout Out and Thanks to our Venue Supervisor Mr. Vito Mazza for his on-going efforts in
beautifying our hard wood floors to such a high sheen and polish! Hat tip. Looks lovely. We wish him a speedy recovery as he was a bit under the weather.
We ask your cooperation to refrain from using any powder on the floor or in your shoes that may spill over to the floor.
This defeats the purpose of maintaining a floor
already treated and polished. (Thank you)
Our friend Tibor, my assistant is on a well deserved vacation. All he does for us is well beyond words. He is appreciated. Have fun Tibor, see you soon.
Let's all say thanks to our dear friend and Milonguero Steve Maisch! He
just jumped right up in to assist me and is doing such a superb job greeting us and keeping me organized. I am just so thankful to have his assistance. Thank You Steve. What a guy!

Natalie Laruccia was a delightful hit! It was a fun and instructive lesson. We learned so much from her. She is so joyful as well. An additional treat that added texture to the rich tapestry of Tango was when she gave us the history of how Milonga originated in the provinces of Argentina and grew into the world wide phenomenon that it is today.
All of this positive and high spirited energy made it a really
fun night. She is the example of the diversity and variety I plan and organize for all of you every Thursday.
We loved how she led the Milonga steps for both the followers and leaders in a manner that it was easy for everyone to catch onto.
The vibes we make here remain unforgettable. It is always about the vibe. We make
that happen. Nice job! there was demand for her return and she will be back on the 3lst of August.
Our guest talent DJ Urszula Abolik filled the air with an awesome playlist of Tangos. What was an added treat she played some of the Polish Tangos. She also came from behind the DJ table and assisted Natalie for the end of class demonstration. Urszula is such a talented and fun person, we are happy
to have her as an addition to our rotation of DJs. Kudos to Urszula and Natalie, yay, girl power!
