Maestro Jose Garofalo
Jose is a multi-talented professional. He works as a Tango Teacher since 1987 at many Milongas and Cultural centers.
He is currently president of the Civil Cambalache Association and directs The Cambalache Festival. He directs the Compania Tragicomical Tanguera since 2011.
He was invited to come
to the Argentine Consulate to exhibit one of his many artistic talents,
His Artwork was exhibited "The Forbidden Hug" at the Argentine Consulate in NYC.
He will show his additional talents as Teacher, Master Instructor and performer of Argentine Tango at Terri's Firehouse Tango Milonga.
I have had Jose booked since last year and am so honored to have him with us here in New Jersey before he returns to Buenos Aires. DO NOT MISS IT!

Let me say
that it is always wonderful to see our long-time friends after an extended absence to migrate back and re-kindle fun times. You are all always welcome with open arms!
It is especially nice when I read compliments on-line that mention how classy and well-dressed our members
look at Terri's Firehouse Tango Milonga.
Even a visit by a prospective member asked me if this was a special occasion because of how trendy everyone was dressed. Our ladies are classy, and our gents are gallant. Beautiful!

Our guest Master Instructor Sid Grant assisted by Ninah Beliavsky taught us in a fresh style we all may emulate. We all had a
ton of fun learning from him.
We celebrated Ninah's birthday. The performance by Ninah and Sid was so exhilarating that it left us wanting more.
Ninah's birthday
dance was highlighted by her dramatic entrance, full cape flowing over a stunning dress, when she suddenly and gracefully performed her signature athletic extended leg split that was a showstopper.
Then Sid in a most masculine portrayal of the Valentino tradition, strutted up to her, sensually and deliberately removed her cape,
revealing a sublime, sequined dress, shimmering under the steamy lights, where they embraced, then melted us with their heated performance. Our whispered gasps were audible in the silenced room.
What talent, it was breath taking. They know how to put on a show. Bravo!!
First timers and all-timers really enjoyed it in the way traditional Tango is supposed
to be.
DJ Mayok (Urszula Abolik) selections of traditional Argentine Tandas and Cortinas are a lovely combination of her musicality that are entertaining and inspiring.
Understanding the subtle nuances of this style of music are an artful talent of which she consistently conducts for us.
I can appreciate sitting and listening to it, just as much as I do when dancing to it.

The sight of our Milongueros dancing under the soft colorful lights setting of an Argentine smoky cafe,
set the sultry mood for dancing all night long.
It makes me happy to see that so many of you enjoyed the home made Spanish Arroz con Pollo I had prepared for you all.
I may be
inspired to surprise you again.
